Your Home Away from Home in the Beautiful Kootenay Rockies
Located in beautiful Balfour, BC, the house is conveniently situated at the western terminus for the Kootenay Lake ferries, the longest free ferry ride in the world.
Take the ferry to the Artisans of Crawford Bay and Kokanee Springs Golf Course. 30 minutes from Historic Kaslo, and Nelson, Canada's #1 Small Arts City.
Only a 10 minute drive to Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, the rental also allows you the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful outdoors by hiking, kayaking, zip-lining or mountain biking. A 10 minute drive in the other direction will find you at Ainsworth Hotsprings for a relaxing soak.
The house sleeps 4, with 2 queen beds. The master loft has a private bathroom, equipped with jetted tub, and the guest room on the main floor is quiet, cozy and cool. Another full bath is also located on the main floor and full laundry setup is provided.
The living room with fireplace and smart TV is a wonderful spot to relax after a day of fishing or hiking, or gather around the dining room table for a meal and a game of cards.
Beach front property with private access to water, grassy lot perfect for tenting or a game of bocce,and full RV hookup makes this the perfect location for a family reunion or friend week away.
